Under the dazzling firmament,
I sit lost in reverie,
Should he be a Knight in shining armour
To sweep me off my feet,
Or tall, dark and handsome
So I'd swoon at the sight of thee.
Charm me with a magic wand,
Nor hypnotise me with folklore,
Mine will possess a heart of gold,
A spirit like the Phoenix
The compassion in his eyes
Will entice kings and paupers alike;
He will be what the Kohinoor was to us
But this time, preserved till eternity.
