Even the Bond series in its own way. Mike Figgis's Leaving Las Vegas is however far from a blockbuster, and a wonderful movie. When you see these, you think, "This is the way such and such character would speak or act, owing to their own background or the setting they are in." You've a point there, smallsquirrel.
