I am glad you came out and expressed the shame and guilt that many of us carry. As a victim of sexual abuse in my childhood, I understand the scars such events leave on people. In general parents are too trusting of other people when it comes to their children. Pedophilia is much more common, especially in India, than is acknowledged. Little boys are even more vulnerable because usually girls are more protected in our society.
