It seems Bombay connection has lots of say in who plays in game. Agarkar can only play as long as Bombay controlled selectors (Wadekar & Tendulkar & Gavaskar) & captains are there. Now with Shastri (another Bombay player), I do not see any hope in near future for India or players who are from Rest of India any chance. Dravid's mediocre(?)/ absent captaincy on the ground b. Divisions within the team - The marathi brahmin lobby of Tendulkar/Agarkar/Dravid versus the past emperor's men - Yuvraj/Bhajan/ganguly c.
