I agree this is a very good review, and it reveals part of the contents of the book. I haven't read the book, but I saw "Hidalgo". I believe the same grief and sorrow for the people that died at Wounded Knee that was apparent from Mr. Mortensen in the film, is showing also in his book. I sensed it in the film, and it felt like he was showing his true emotions (I really believe this is true!). I think he is a sensible man and this shows in his works, be it poetry, photos, thoughts, paintings, music, or acting. He truly is a complete artist!

Romi

Thank you for your comment, I'm very glad you appreciated that last line, it felt very important to me.

Don't apologise for your English, it's sounds about as good as mine does somedays.

cheers

A really good review, expecialy the last phrase wich I totaly agree

"'if you are willing and strong enough to face up to the truth'. Miyelo is the truth of the history of North America, may you have the courage to observe it and absorb it."

This seems me a good question for everyone to ask to himself.

Thanks and I beg your pardon for my bad english.
