DG - aww, you want a girlfriend. Yeah, thats a toughie. You'd think it would be an easy thing but it isnt. Sorry, hon - no bright ideas here. :( Unless you know somebody at work or something that you think might be fun but havent hung out with much and you can ask em if they want to get a drink after work or something. Amrita, ROFL! Am I glad to know there's another saddo like me out there!! It isn't the popularity I am worried about, it is having a girlfriend who understands. Couple of weeks back, I had taken P swimming. To make up for the calories we'd burnt in the pool, we went up to the cafe to stuff our faces with fries. Whilst doing so, I noticed these two women with kids, who sat talking about shoes, men, holidays and the other inane things only we can think of. And I thot: god I miss that! *sniff* Alex : Yeah you know who I am talking about. Roark got mixed up with that demi-god Roarke (J D Robb's creation) in my feverish mind.

Stop taking my life and trying to pass it off as yours. I worked hard at being weird, you know. Plagiarist! No, seriously... S had a brainfart. Its ok, he'll get over it. But basically not all of us are built to be Susie Q. Popular and having 50 people hang out in your living room getting crumbs into your couch isnt the best way of judging your popularity. If you have a 4 am friend - even one - then you're quite popular enough. Look at Paris Hilton - she goes to all the parties in town and has so many friends she can't even remember who they are. And what does she have to show for it? Low self esteem and herpes. Puts things in perspective doesnt it?
