How can one say that Lankans haven't had a good world cup since 1996. Yes 1999 was a disaster..But we were made it to semis in 2003. This year we will make it to the finals.

well, my two cents the lankans are believe in themselves after long time and got some fiery think tanks. motto today is it does not matter losing but fight until last ball is balled and run scored which was lasking in them few years ago. winning against sri lanka will be difficult as long as this attitude prevails in the team.

Well let we give credit where it dues! The cuurent Sri Lankan Team is a perfect combination of youth and the veterans is a excelent combination. Hats off tom and the coaching and the management team what they have bought to this team self belief and a do or die never give up attitude. On their if the entire team gels together and plays to their potential their the best team in the business. They well focused and each player is well aware of their roll in the side and it is mater of time they will be a consistant outfit. Unforthunately the media does not give the coverage they richly deserve. I love the humble and down erthness of each member of the side. If this combination was available for example to the England side by now midis will be bombating with all the quotes of the book as the most favorite team to winn the 2007 world cup but unfortunately this combination represents Sri Lanka. Take my world Sri lanka is tiped and well prepaired to win the world cup and beyond. All the very best for the most humble and hardworking team in the cricket world

It looks like Sri Lanka is not playing to their true potential, as they do not want the Indians(also in the same pool) to guess what is up their sleeves. For sure, Sri Lanka will fire from all cylinders when the Cup gets underway. If they win the series-decider at Vizag, their Captain would say "We want to maintain the winning habit till the end of the Cup." I am glad that India is not playing Tendulkar tomorrow. Even the Indian side knows that Sri Lanka will win the series here. In contrast to Indians, Sri Lankans are looking very positive and upbeat, thanks to the efforts of their good coach!
