The high court has moved quite fast perhaps under public pressure and direction of goverenment.Indian judicial system is rotten.Policemen are thoroughly corrupt and goondas in uniform. They are shameless
organisation and have become arrogant as no action is taken by their equally corrupt superiors.

The system is snail paced and policemen corrupt.
Such exceptional case are exhibited by courts once in a while to create illusion in minds of gullible citizens that law exists and
justice is available.

Manu Sharma case has been thoroughly weakend at trial stage.I think the judgement is more of a rhetoric to give people an illusion that justice exists in india. It does not.

Manu Sharma will be acquitted in higher appeal.
It is a never ending farce in India in name of
justice. What is required is changes in basic principles of criminal jurisprudence, adequate number of courts, thorough change in police
organisation and police service rules making them similar to army & making them accountable for failure in prosecution and financially
liable.

I am least impressed by this judgement .it is drop in ocean and a contaminated drop.Manu's acquittal in next appeal is almost certain.
"Red Turban" and "Man-bood" Theories will be solved in Supreme Court of India.
Jethmalani will be Winner. He is not the fool as you think him to be.

It always happens like this.It is history.

This is actually great. There is a trio of cases that have people worked up - the Priyadarshini Mattoo case, the Jessica Lall case and the Nitish Katara case. 2 of them have judgements that seem right, we will wait for the 3rd.
However, it cannot be right that the middle class just takes 3 cases as the one that affect them, any issue that is wrong should be pursued.

Sakshi,
I really liked your poser to that over-rated hogwash-spouting megalomaniac jethmalani.
Also you did not mention the utterly shameless and gutless Shayan Munshi who caused the first trial to fail--he should rename himself Shame Munshi.
And shame on those who go to Manus disco in chandigarh.
Vikas Yadav--here we come!

Sabrina is the real champ in this fight for justice as she fought even after she lost her parents....it re-instills the faith among Indians that the high and mighty in India can no more be considered above the law.

But the only question that remains is there are hundreds of similar cases like Jessica's, will all get justice or will they gather dust for years and then be forgotten ?

Now Jethemalani, frame a "White Turban Theory",to clean your tainted claims...
