<description>I feel your pain. When I first returned to India after a year away I was almost embarrassed by the Delhi Airport. Since then, however, I&#039;ve come to appreciate some of its charms
1. Plenty of seats - most airports want you to shop.
2. Small, so no need to walk for hours to board.
3. Security check lines are reasonable, compared to London/Paris.

Still, by no means are the airports a good &#039;first view&#039; of India. The upgrades should improve things, though I doubt they will be landmarks.
