*** It has been reported by NDTV that a series of five blasts have rocked Mumbai. Most of the blasts occurred in first class compartments of the tains full of commuters returning homes. The first one was on train between Khar and Mahim. The second blast on a train at the Mahim station. The third near Bhayandar station, the fourth at Jogeshwari and the fifth at Borivili.

There are reports of two more blasts. The sixth at Khar and the seventh one has been reported from Matunga.

The Western Lines have been closed down and the injured are being rushed to local hospitals.

Seven blasts rocked suburban trains in Mumbai on Tuesday evening, Police Commissioner A N Roy has said. The police control room has reported that 139 passengers have been killed and more than 300 injured. PTI reports that the blasts took place in a span of 30 minutes in first class compartments of suburban trains.

The chronology of the seven bomb blasts that ripped through the seven suburban trains at various stations during the peak hour on Tuesday evening is as follows:

Khar — 1824 hrs
Bandra — 1824 hrs
Jogeshwari — 1825 hrs
Mahim — 1826 hrs
Mira Road — 1829 hrs
Matunga — 1830 hrs
Borivali — 1835 hrsLink

CNN reports that PM Manmohan Singh has called an emergency meeting of his ministers. Airports and other transportation hubs have been placed on high alert all over the country.

This is reminiscent of the Bombay blasts of 1993, when 13 bombs exploded all over the city claiming over 250 lives.

Its Rainy season for the "FROGS" in Media.

Its party time for these Media bast**ds.

What a great way to hijack the whole nation and thats what Terrorists want (free publicity and advertisement all over the country).

The more media hypes it up, the more encouragement the terrorists will get for future attacks.

this is a time for anguish and reflection
this is a time to support grieving families
this is the time to help round up the perpetrators
this is the time to prevent more attacks

and, most importantly

this is not the time you re-hash your pet peeves

They are ay it again. I kept telling and this is nothing but the second part to what happened in Bhiwandi.

What they did to the statue and hindu idols was only to divert the plan so that they could plant bombs at these places.

how easy it is to provoke the sainiks...what a plan, what a mind, so that they could carry this dirty plan out. it is not coinicedence that they provoked the sainiks on the weekend and while all ettention of police was diverted to them and gullible people critizing the sianiks, they were making other plans.

God Bless the dead souls.

Look at how CNN reports it:

Indian PM: Train blasts are work of 'terrorists'

Indian Prime Manmohan Singh said "terrorists" are behind today's Mumbai train bombings. Seven explosions hit crowded commuter trains during evening rush hour, killing at least 135 people, Mumbai police reported. Singh issued a statement calling the attacks a "shameful act" and urged Indians to "remain calm, not to believe rumors, and to carry on their activity."

DEVELOPING STORY

Live Watch panicked commuters aid each other
Series of blasts hit commuter trains

1) It doesn't look like they think it is terrorism.

2) Looks like they are enjoying it! As if we were pre-colonial animals who get concerned when our people are struck!!!!!

Reminds me of the Human Zoo! This is just the digital version of that.

Maybe the Indian media should have put up:

Bush declares war on "Terror"

Look at desperate people jumping down frm the 98th floor of the WTC after two planes were used as flying bombs against them.

I have only one question. Do any fellow writers live or have family in Mumbai?

Stand strong - strengthen your faith in G-d.
Don't be afraid to cry, but do not allow yourselves to be overcome with either fear or bitterness. May G-d watch over all of you in Mumbai and any other places in India attacked by terrorists.

The whole world is a very narrow bridge;
The point is not to fear at all!

Thanks ruvy

I am from Mumbai that too in Mahim

While they were busy distracting and provoking the sainiks over the weekend, it was a good plan. they wasted not time on tuesday to plant the bombs all over mumbai.

History repeats it self.

This is part 2 to what happened in Biwandi.

I am very sure, it is a very well ochestrated plan to divert attention by provoking the sainiks and so that these fanatics could plant these bombs in the next 2 days time.

What bloody cowards?

I kept telling on DC itself that sainiks reacted coz they were provoked , what with some saddistic fanatics abusing their hindu statues unnecessarily, little did we realize that there were larger saddistic plans.

With the gang of OBL not getting anywhere, mumbai was an easy easy target, plus mahim also has alot of Christians residing too.

I have called my family and they are fine. Hope others are fien too.

It is unbelievable. The pictures are as gruesome as they can get. The news channels have been screening them all the time. Makes one's blood boil and stomach churn. Lets get the injured to the hospitals. lets get the dead to their abodes. But lets not forget. We need an answer for this. A tough tough answer. An answer which people are not likely to forget. We have had enough. The Shiv Sena is not holding Mumbai to ransom. it the bastards who are euphemistically called terrorists. it is time to pull up our socks.
Not be the casual indifferent Mumbaite. It is time to say No. we wont take this lying down. We need answers. We need solutions. We want retribution. An eye for an eye does make the world blind. But all i casee with my good eyes is red.. The river of blood is flowing. All we can do is watch and symapthise.

Temporal,

I fully feel the pain of the grieving relatives who may or may not have found the whereabouts of their loved ones.

Oh. Media Frogs are indeed helping people. Please do not worry. The journalists covering the hospitals and railway tracks are donating blood as well. If each channel has 20 journalists on field, then 20 channels and newsagency will have 400 journalists donating blood. That should be enough for 400 injured people.

The Media Frogs have plenty of stories and discussions to conduct which is certainly going to be so much effortless.

They already declared, all through the night the frogs will cover this gruesome story.

From
India Uncut.

Update: As soon as the first pictures started, Rajdeep Sardesai on CNN-IBN started waxing about how how "resilient Mumbaikars" were "helping each other." And moments ago, he bragged about how "this is the power of a global news organisation. These pictures are going out across the world thanks to CNN-IBN." Every news channel had more or less the same pictures.
--------------------

About 2 months back, Mr.Pardesai did a nice story on how Goa can be terrorists's next target.

Now, Rajdeep's all efforts led to CNN report which Laxmikanth posted in comment #9.

Now, the Media frogs are requesting for MMS pictures of the scenes in the trains. They know some people may have taken pictures of people bleeding and mutilated bodies soon after the tragedy.

The airport has remained open but on high alert.

Most people had to walk home today. Saw lots of people walking on the railway tracks at Vile Parle since the trains on the Western line had been suspended.

As I was coming home in the evening, I did not see any BEST buses on the road between 7:00 & 7:30 pm.

I think, most Traffic police were deployed to the railway areas since they were missing from their regular posts.

There have been power black outs in some areas.

Sion Hospital needs 1600 bottles of blood.

Holy Family Hospital in Bandra is also on a drive to collect blood for victims.

Very Unfortunate and uncalled for? What did mumbai do to deserve this?

But I am not surprised that there is no reaction from the Sainiks who everyone as falsely painted a picture over the years. The people who have helped paint a false picture of the Sainiks is because they are doing their heinous acts behind the innocent harmless actions of the Sainiks.
Latest example: Distract the Sainiks like the way they did last week so that these terrorists could plant the bombs.
Some gullible people even blogged about it coz with the sainiks they can dare to write anything about them. But with these fanatics (SIMI) no one dare blog or write or raise their voice. Such is the scare created by OBL and like wise gang

Let us analyze how 3 sections of the society reacted to terrorist acts:

USA: After 9/11, went on two major wars in retaliation . One with Afganistan and the other with Iraq. Several thousands of life were taken. But they taught everyone a lesson. People of USA were thus comforted down once their elected President did what was expected. In return, they re-elected him.

Intentional Statue and Hindu Idol abuse on 7/9/06 : Sainiks ONLY burned buses and asked people to close their shops thus causing mere planned inconvenience . (do the Indian children of Meena tahi have this liberty to save the grace of whom they regard as their mother)

SIMI/ DAWOOD/ OBL & gang : Blast buildings in USA, Bali, Kashmir and killed lakhs of innocents in 1993, 9/11, 7/7 , 7/11. Innocents are dead , common men have died mercilessly in the name of religion wars.

Sainik reaction to 7/11 (prediction in advance): None and there will none. Probably burning buses coz they will be at it again. But no killing. Wait and watch.

--I wish we had a President like Bush.
--I wish people could fear the Indian they way people fear SIMI, Dawood and OBL.

God bless the dead and give lots of mental courage to the families whose loved ones never returned and never will.

Buckle up Mumbai.

I am really irritated by these news channels shouting whole day that mumbaikars spirit is undying. What the bloody hell they are talking about. In mumbai which is the financial capital day to day work ensures money so it is the people running behind money. It is shameful that even after repeated attacks mumbaikars are not fighting back. What the hell did you get being peaceful after repeated attacks. Why bomb blasts happened only in Hindu Majority Western line and not in Muslim majority Central line? Are we cowards? We need to be warriors? Fight the problem dont be living dead bodies!!!

Years of Text book editing by communist/christian/pseudo secular majority NCERT has ensured that India is a coward nation. We have beeen falsely taught that we won independence through peaceful means conveniently ignoring all the spirited fighters who gave their blood for the cause.Congress b******s(Eg. Mani Sankar Aiyar) have further alienated freedom fighters on party lines.

Our education is making us weak, gives false identity & history. Our vedas ,Ramayana, Bhagvad gita, Mahabaratha, all say kill the evil . There have been innumerable battles waged by great maharajas to save the land of Bharatha. Where the hell does peace have a place here. Where the hell can any one prove that in the history of Bharat Bhoomi there was no war and all battles were won by peace?? Then why the hell we are being given doses of peace everyday, why the hell our PM is crying to ensure peace?

Its high time Mumbaikars , stop the decades old tradition of spending 8 hours work , 8 hours train, 8hours sleep .give some thought to your future and the future of your children and the nation. do not be too proud about the false spirit of mumbaikar propoganda being fanned by the Media B******s.

Show some concern about your security, revolt , give a clear signal to the government that no more will be tolerated.Either government should act or allow violence to happen were every terrorist and sympathiser of terrorists and pseudoseculars will be taken care of permanently.

Come on show your spirit in eliminating the Biggest bast**ds on earth Parvez Musharraf(Soover ke Bachhe) and Dawood Ibrahim.

Now our PM in his speech to the nation has started shedding crocodile tears for mumbaikars for showing resilience , standing tall and leading normal life. Now the question who is leading normal life? Is it the innumerable number of families who have lost their dear ones !! is it the mumbaikar who will leave home in fear of not returning back !!!!

Then who is it ????? Obviously our PM and his media friends or B******s.

PM is back to his peaceful days , since no one has revolted against him , Media is happy and normal because no one is questioning its fanning of false spirit of mumbaikar and shameful resilience.

Are any relief organizations/ NGOs trying to help Mumbaikars? Is anyone collecting money? Is anyone pitching for the dead and the wounded?

Goddammit, Indian Red Cross Society has nothing on their webpage.

Will they be mercy of Indian Government and their ***supersonic speed***.

Guys, do something.
