It all began with the success Aashiq Banaya Aapne's title song. Now the man is all over the idiot box. He has four videos running from his own album. He was seen singing and dancing with Dino Morea, Emraan Hashmi and Udita Goswami in Aksar and now he has come again in Tom, Dick and Harry. I am just amazed at the success of the man. The fact is simple - his voice is terrible! And it does not help when the viewer has to see him with his cap and beard on every video.
Having said that, I must give credit to him where it is due. I think he has created some good songs. Compositions are good, the arrangements are rich but he should not continue singing. The songs would have been evergreen if he had got someone else to render the compositions. With his voice they would die a quick death.
And please, are we out of models and actors in this country that we have to see him again and again on every video? If the answer is 'yes', at least change the style!
Herd mentality and cashing in on success are big problems in the entertainment sector. Artistes do not realize the ramifications of these in the longer term.
Himesh the singer and a model will die a quick death. He should stick to what he is good at - composing music!

Rightly said! He has a nasal voice and head tilted to one end, does it not hurt??
I just wish he stops hitting the TV screens, thank god we have a choice of multiple channels to switch to!

What's with the stupid cap? He reminds me of Linus with his towel. Seems a strange fetish. Makes you wonder, does he take it off at all, say when making love. One can almost imagine the thought bubble of his unfortunate partner if he does, "Lets dump this freak quick".

himesh is not just been credited with bombarding the poor listeners of his albums with his intolerable nasal voice in 8 out of his 10 compositions, but he is also considered as the most influential figure in pulling down the quality of the hindi film music to abysmal levels in the recent times. listen to the songs of Teesri Aankh(and others) to understand what i mean here. talk about the ignorant dreaming to become successful, just by imitating the success!!

hey guys....sorry i came 2 this page but i think you all are wrong coz i think himesh is a brilliant singer....he is unique in his on way....so wat happen if he sings with nasal voice or wear cap or appears in every song....its his songs which makes the clubs running this days...only recently pritam is coming up with some good songs...well i do admit that there are other singers who are better than him but every1 is unique in their own way so i dun understand why are you guys so after him....
