My brother, first, I attack your shrine.
Then you take revenge by attacking mine.
And for all our trouble,
Our land is turning to rubble
Of civil war there's now a sure-shot sign!
Let's introspect in this aftermath.
Have we somewhere forgotten our path?
What is our goal?
What's scorching our soul?
Where are we heading with this sectarian wrath?

Iraq was pushed closer to all-out civil war yesterday after the destruction of the dome of one of Shia Islam's four holiest shrines sent tens of thousands into the streets and set off a wave of revenge attacks on Sunni mosques.

Lives are gonna be lost,
mothers are gonna cry,
children are gonna be orphaned....
at the end of the day,
when enough blood has flown,
hope someone remains to realize,
that we all were brothers!!!!!
