Kaveeta:

yeh hay asli ishq!

most of the stuff written or talked about as 'love' is but an attribute of true love... a facet of love....liking, admiring, infatuation, adulation, affection, appreciation, ardor, attachment, devotedness, enchantment, fervor, flame, fondness, friendship, involvement, liking, lust, passion, rapture.....

but this is ish'q...the complete embodiment of love

thanks for sharing

Thanks Sujatha. I do feel blessed.

Deepti,
I echo your predicament. We avoid our normal family viewing of albums now. I wonder whether 'time will be a great healer' or will it internalise the pain ,over the years. For mamas sake, I wish it to be the former. I am trying my utmost to hasten the healing process for her. I will be taking her to Vippassana soon.

Lakshmikanth,
If there is anything I have learnt from watching my mother over the years is that "love is in the giving' and unconditionally. The joy which the universal consciousness blesses you with, is immeasurable.

God bless!

Kaveetaa, for a minute I thought you had written about my parents. Its been seven years since my father's death and though life still goes on there are a few things that my mom, sisters and I can't bring ourselves to do like go through family albums, see us laughing together on videos or listen to old hindi songs.

Please make sure that your mom is emotionally well taken care of. You are her strength during these rough times.
